Important Pre & Post Treatment Information
Pre-Treatment Preparation (Required)
Two weeks prior to your peel, you must use one of the following glycolic products,
available at AquaSpa, to prepare your skin and optimise results:
- Glycolic 10: discontinue 3 days before treatment
- Glycolic Cleanser: discontinue 3 days before treatment
- Cell Cycle Catalyst: no time restriction
Additional Pre-Care Guidelines:
- No hair removal: 1 week prior
- No exfoliation: 24 hours prior
- No retinol: 1 week prior

- Optimises the epidermis and skin barrier
- Lowers risk of pH shock
- Puts skin into wound-healing mode
- Minimises complications and speeds up recovery
- Enhances results from professional treatment
Post-Treatment Care
To protect your skin and maximise results:
- Sun protection: minimum 2 weeks
- Avoid exfoliation: 3 days
- Avoid retinol: 7 days
- Avoid heat exposure (sauna, steam, hot yoga): 3 days
- Makeup: after 24 hours
- Hair removal: avoid for 1 week
